Creativity Strikes Again – Curry Nori Wraps

Just when I think this diet can’t get any more boring, an idea hits me out of nowhere.
This was a delicious, spontaneous creation!

It started with a bowl of chopped napa cabbage, tossed with salt to soften it a bit.
To flavor it up: olive oil, garlic powder, curry powder, and lemon juice (not measured, all to taste).
I mixed in some legume sprouts for added nutrients and texture. This became the base for the wrap. I chose red pepper, cucumber, and avocado slices to accompany the filling in the nori rolls.

The Rest of the Food
Breakfast today was one of my standbys: homemade granola-type crackers crumbled into a bowl with almond milk. This never gets old. (Crackers containing everything but the kitchen sink).

Snack:

Dinner
It was difficult to top such a yummy lunch.
Nothing really appealed to me, so I opted for a simple dinner of blanched broccoli with olive oil and garlic, and a side of red pepper slices.
In the past, I never would’ve considered having just broccoli for a main course. It seems impossible that it could be filling enough, but with the olive oil, and such a large portion, it is extremely filling!

I don’t always post the spirulina tabs, but I take them most mornings and evenings.

Planning for Next Month
It’s hard to believe that the first month on this trial is almost over! After the 28th day, I’ll start posting week to week, rather than every day. Just two more days of daily posting!
I’m beginning to plan my next mail order. I feel like I’ve learned so much over this past month. As difficult as it’s been, it’s one of the best things I could’ve done to improve my raw food diet.
The definite staples I must order are:
Tahini- I miss this so much and can hardly wait to eat it again!
Almonds – still have some left, but will run out in a few weeks
Hemp seeds – The price to beat is $7 and change for 8oz (the price I get at my favorite local market )
Stevia extract (to try to get a better price)
Coconut oil
Pumpkin seeds
Pistachio pesto

Kefir
Goji Berries
